Data Deletion
Flint by Studio Whiterock
You can delete some or all of the data Flint has stored without disconnecting your Twitch account or uninstalling the app. Because Flint is local-first — everything lives only in on-device storage, never on a server we control — every deletion below takes effect immediately, on-device, with nothing left behind to expire later.
Steps, by data type
A stream and all its markers
Stream List
Tap the delete icon on a stream row (or select several and tap "Delete") and confirm. This removes that stream and every marker logged under it.
A single marker
Review Log
Swipe a marker to delete it, or open it and tap delete, then confirm. The stream and its other markers are unaffected.
A custom tag
Settings → Tags & Colors
Tap delete next to the tag and confirm. Markers that used it aren't deleted — they just show as "untagged" going forward.
A topic
Settings → Topics
Tap delete next to the topic and confirm. Streams that used it aren't deleted — they just show their topic as "unset" going forward.
Your Twitch connection
Settings → Twitch → Disconnect
Removes the stored Twitch access token and username only. See account deletion for details.
Everything at once
Uninstall the app
Flint stores all data locally on your device — uninstalling removes every stream, marker, tag, topic, and any stored Twitch session in one step.
What's deleted, what's kept, for how long
Every deletion above is permanent and immediate — Flint has no server-side copy, backup, or sync of your streams, markers, tags, topics, or Twitch session to retain, so there is no additional retention period after you delete something on-device. Deleting a tag or topic keeps the markers/streams that referenced it (they fall back to "untagged"/"unset") rather than deleting those too; delete the streams or markers themselves if you want them gone as well. The only data Flint holds outside of what's listed above is whatever Apple's App Store or Google Play separately retain under their own install/crash-analytics policies — Flint has no access to and cannot delete that on your behalf.
